As a parent, when enjoying the great outdoors with your family, your number one priority is protecting your little one’s skin from sun damage. Our gentle sun lotion is suitable for all skin types, even those with sensitive skin – it’s one for all the family.

Our SPF 50+ sun cream provides instant protection to delicate skin, protecting skin against both UVA and UVB rays as well as being water resistant. This new formulation is kind to ocean and octocrylene-free and comes in four different formats, so there’s something for everyone.

To make protecting delicate skin even easier, this handy roll-on format makes it easy to apply, especially for little ones wanting more independence. It’s perfect for nursery and school bags.

And, as with all our products, our suncare range is dermatologist and paediatrician approved. So, you know they’re suitable for all skin types including dry, sensitive skin, also safe for people who may be prone to eczema.

Protecting precious skin from sun damage

Over exposure to the sun can have serious effects on the skin, particularly on young skin. Below are our top tips for keeping little ones safe in the sun.

• Keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight and make sure they wear UV protective clothing and high SPF sunscreens (at least 25+). In line with NHS guidance, babies under 6-months should be kept out of the sun entirely.
• Avoid intense midday sun. This is a great time to head indoors for some shade.
• Do not stay too long in the sun, even when using a sunscreen product.
• Reapply sun cream frequently every 1-2 hours, and always after perspiring, swimming or towelling.
• Encourage your child to wear a hat to keep their face protected.
• Give your child regular sips of water to keep them hydrated.
